Abstract

Il Design ha ampliato, negli ultimi anni, i propri ‘oggetti di progetto’ includendo, tra essi, anche l’organizzazione. Nello specifico è nel dibattito sul Design Thinking che emerge tale interesse, in una delle tipologie che lo caratterizzano: la Creative Confidence. La dimensione creativa è funzionale per il coinvolgimento dei membri di un’organizzazione, consente di superare le resistenze al cambiamento, abilita al rischio che ogni processo creativo comporta. L’obiettivo è innovare prodotti e servizi attraverso una maggiore disponibilità e accettazione, abilitata da leadership accorte, alla creatività. Il design è espressione creativa, ma come la creatività stessa, richiede la creazione e l’assorbimento di codici e modelli culturali, l’assunzione, in sintesi, di una ‘cultura del progetto’.

Francesco Zurlo, Politecnico di Milano

PhD in Disegno Industriale, è Professore Ordinario di Design e insegna alla Scuola di Design e Ingegneria Gestionale. È Preside Vicario della Scuola del Design e Coordinatore dei corsi di studio in Design del Prodotto. È componente della commissione di valutazione finale dell’ADI Index dal 2012.
