Transizione energetica e circolare del patrimonio industriale – Il caso dell’ex SNIA a Roma

Abstract

Il contributo presenta gli esiti di attività di ricerca incentrate sui siti dismessi del patrimonio industriale intesi come risorsa strategica per la transizione energetica e circolare, attraverso l’adozione di azioni rigenerative capaci di innescare nuovi processi circolari intrinseci all’intervento di riuso adattivo e/o attivati da questo ed estesi al territorio. L’approccio sperimentale è orientato a definire interventi compatibili con le esigenze di conservazione, nel più ampio quadro della caratterizzazione dei flussi, materiali e immateriali, in atto e potenziali, per realizzare un ecosistema circolare con produzione di energia a zero emissioni, riuso e riciclo di materiali e acqua. Il contributo illustra in particolare due scenari di ‘riuso adattivo circolare’ su un caso pilota, il più complesso tra i siti identificati nelle attività di ricerca, valutando, tramite specifici indicatori, il livello di circolarità raggiunto.

Architetto e PhD, è Professore Associato di Tecnologia dell’Architettura presso il Dipartimento PDTA. Specializzazione in Disegno Industriale, svolge attività di ricerca focalizzate sul rapporto tra innovazione tecnologica e progetto dell’esistente, declinate sulle tematiche dell’efficienza ecologica ed energetica nel progetto di recupero dell’ambiente costruito.
