Abstract

Il tema dell’emergenza ambientale è ormai al centro delle riflessioni sul modo di pensare e concepire il progetto di architettura. Il contributo sostiene l’opportunità di leggere il progetto edilizio come un processo circolare che possa, in tutte le fasi della progettazione, aiutare i progettisti a trovare risposte consapevoli e funzionali al tema dell’impatto ambientale delle costruzioni: ciò impone una necessaria revisione dei requisiti prestazionali del progetto che trovano una possibile risposta, completa ed efficace, nelle architetture modulari minime. Si ritiene infatti che il modulo in architettura possa essere concepito, a parità di elemento minimo base, come flessibile rispetto alle esigenze d’uso, ai contesti e alle prestazioni ottenibili. A dimostrazione di quanto esplicitato, si riportano esperienze di ricerca su questa concezione architettonica-progettuale.

Architetto e PhD, è Professore presso la Escuela Técnica Superior de Ingeniería de Edificación. Svolge attività di ricerca principalmente nell’ambito della conservazione, del recupero e della valorizzazione dei Beni Culturali, concentrandosi sulla gestione del patrimonio.

Ingegnere edile-Architetto e PhD, è Professore Associato di Tecnica delle Costruzioni presso il Dipartimento di Ingegneria Civile e Architettura (DICAr). Svolge attività di ricerca sul progetto di riuso e valorizzazione dei Beni Culturali e sulle tecnologie costruttive tradizionali e innovative per la progettazione sostenibile.
