Abstract

Nell’ambito delle strategie circolari per gli imballaggi, il riutilizzo è un approccio che riscontra interesse per preservare un maggiore valore intrinseco in termini di energia, lavoro e materiali, oltre che per promuovere il riciclo. Mentre applicazioni di riutilizzo per l’imballaggio sono state ampiamente adottate sul piano business-to-business, le soluzioni in un approccio business-to-consumer restano meno esplorate. Questo studio riporta un quadro preliminare su benefici e criticità delle applicazioni nell’imballaggio riutilizzabile business-to-consumer, basandosi su dati ottenuti da un esame della letteratura in tale ambito, interviste con gli utenti e un sondaggio sul web. Come risultato, fornisce una sistematizzazione delle linee guida di progetto che potrebbero contribuire allo sviluppo di imballaggi riutilizzabili business-to-consumer, un approccio questo considerato rilevante ma spesso trascurato che potrebbe portare a un packaging migliorato, dal punto di vista funzionale ed estetico, che produca benefici sensibili tanto per gli utenti quanto per i produttori.
