The relationship between Architecture and Nature in the study of the new constructive potential of natural materials represents the driving force in research trajectories, in which alternatives with less impact on the environment are investigated, mainly compared to resources from renewable sources. Among them, the development in the structural framework of bamboo is one of the possible paths, without ecological rhetoric, but with the aim of recovering the value of constructive principles related to the nature of the material and the culture of places. The paper is located in this field of reference by describing the research path addressed to the design experimentation of a constructive bamboo joint, its structural verification, leaving open several future scenarios on possible implications and the impacts that such innovation could trigger.
