Il patrimonio industriale ad Hanoi – Una valutazione multiscalare per il riuso adattivo di una innovativa infrastruttura urbana

Abstract

Nelle città asiatiche l’urbanizzazione rapida ha prodotto un paradosso: le città entrano in una fase ‘post-industriale’ mentre l’industrializzazione è ancora in corso. Ad Hanoi (Vietnam) le politiche di rilocalizzazione delle fabbriche all’interno della città hanno favorito processi di riqualificazione fondati sulla demolizione, erodendo il Patrimonio industriale e precludendo opportunità di innovazione. In tale quadro il contributo indaga la rifunzionalizzazione del Patrimonio industriale come infrastruttura urbana inclusiva, in grado di concorrere al raggiungimento dell’SDG 9. Il contributo illustra la ricerca EUNIC ‘Repurposing Industrial Heritage’ (2021-2022) che, adottando un approccio in quattro fasi e una metodologia mista – mappatura di 95 siti, analisi morfologica, indagine su 1.040 intervistati e confronto tra 104 casi internazionali – elabora uno Strumento di Valutazione Strategica per orientare le decisioni di rigenerazione in coerenza con le condizioni istituzionali di Hanoi.

Thai Huyen Nguyen, Hanoi Architectural University (Vietnam)

Architetto e PhD, è Docente e Ricercatrice presso l’Institute of International Training and Cooperation. La sua attività di ricerca e di insegnamento si concentra sull’architettura del paesaggio, sulle trasformazioni urbane e sul Patrimonio industriale, con particolare competenza nelle metodologie comparative e nelle ricerche sul campo. Coordina importanti progetti internazionali (Erasmus+, EUNIC, IRD) ed è stata Visiting Professor presso diverse Università francesi. Nel 2025 le è stata conferita l’onorificenza francese delle Palmes Académiques, nel grado di Chevalier.
