Transizione ecologica e digitale. Il Design Sistemico nei processi di innovazione aperta delle PMI

Abstract

Per favorire la transizione ecologica e digitale delle PMI europee è necessario un approccio sistemico e collaborativo che sia capace di inquadrare i problemi nella complessità delle relazioni e delle interconnessioni che li caratterizzano. Questo articolo si pone l’obiettivo di indagare come l’approccio e i metodi del Design Sistemico supportino un processo di ‘innovazione aperta’, in ambienti industriali e interdisciplinari. Viene presentato come caso studio il progetto europeo DigiCirc, che offre uno spazio di sperimentazione delle sfide riscontrate in letteratura con i dati raccolti sul campo, sottolineando il contributo apportato dai ricercatori di Design Sistemico del Politecnico di Torino, sia in qualità di partner di progetto nel processo di ‘innovazione aperta’ sia con attività di supporto alle start-up e PMI coinvolte. L’articolo si rivolge in particolare agli studiosi e ai professionisti del design che si occupano di ‘innovazione aperta’ e di transizione ecologica e digitale all’interno di sistemi socio-tecnici e in ambienti industriali e interdisciplinari.

Silvia Barbero, Politecnico di Torino (Italia)

PhD, è Professore Associato in Design del Dipartimento di Architettura e Design. La sua ricerca si concentra principalmente sul design sistemico per la circolarità dei processi industriali al fine di ottenere una maggiore sostenibilità ambientale, sociale ed economica. Dal 2018 è Presidente della Systemic Design Association. È coordinatrice scientifica del progetto europeo DigiCirc (H2020 – INNOSUP-01).

Eliana Ferrulli, Politecnico di Torino (Italia)

Dottoranda in Gestione, Produzione e Design, ha un background in Design Sistemico. La sua ricerca si concentra sulla transizione e l’implementazione di catene del valore tessili circolari, attraverso un approccio rigenerativo e olistico dato dal Design Sistemico. Ha preso parte a diversi progetti europei, tra cui DigiCirc (H2020 – INNOSUP-01), collaborando con le imprese a livello nazionale e internazionale.
